How work should be labelled
Concept
A proposed direction that has not yet been implemented or tested.
Internal demonstration
An example created to show a method or capability, not a customer result.
Pilot
A defined implementation test with agreed inputs, limits and measures.
Observed result
An outcome seen during delivery that may still require verification or a longer observation period.
Verified result
An outcome supported by source evidence and reviewed against the agreed measure.
Permissioned customer proof
Verified customer evidence that the customer has approved for public use.
What a useful case study should show
- the original problem;
- the agreed scope;
- what was implemented;
- what was measured;
- the time period;
- the limitations;
- the customer’s role;
- the verified outcome;
- permission to publish.
